Hugh Jackman said that he was truly done playing the character of Wolverine after Logan (2017)
Synopsis
Deadpool receives an offer from the Time Variance Authority to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but instead recruits a variant of Wolverine to save his universe from extinction. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman explore memorable credits, interesting facts, achievements, and trivia taken straight from their name pages on IMDb. He then said that he regretted that statement after watching the first Deadpool movie and expressed to Ryan his interest in having the two characters meet on the big screen. When asked why he chose to return for this movie, he simply said, “I just wanted to do it and I felt it in my gut,” adding that he wanted to have the best time possible on a film set alongside Ryan Reynolds. Similarly, Reynolds wanted to work alongside Jackman since the first Deadpool movie and was sad when he (Jackman) backed out of the role.

I smiled and laughed from beginning to end
Also, I never thought I’d see some “old” characters and “old/new” characters in this movie. Lots of easter eggs, if you’re that nerd, really nostalgic. I would argue that this is one of the best multiverse movies ever. Also, the soundtrack to this movie was great. However, the movie should have been longer because we waited so many years for this prequel.
Thank you Deadpool, our Marvel Jesus
